The result does not tell the full story as Bournemouth won the shot count 19-14. Perhaps Brentfords higher skilled players made the difference at both ends but it certainly appears harsh on the home side who put in a spirited performance. After a great start Bournemouth are fast dropping down the table and now sit 14th with a mammoth 19 goals conceded in 6 games.

Nice to get a win after lots of draws. We expected the C, so risked changing to an E, and it worked reasonably well this time.
Goal scoring defender Baines did it again, along with loanee Valbuena, who also picked up the man of the match award.
We were good value for the win based on the stats, and move up to fourth.
However, a potentially tricky match at Fulham awaits next.
