Southampton 1-2 MANCHESTER UNITED

We made it a tougher tie than it should've been but once we got infront we got defensive and made sure we didn't blow it. The second half was quiet and uneventful for sure where the first half we trailed and had to fight back, we did with two goals in quick succession of each other. We deserved to see out the win in the end and we're in a position to win at all costs for sure so that's what we did.

We have 7 cup finals left this season, and simply put we have to win them all to salvage the season but we know we have some huge ties coming up!

Liverpool 3-1 Crystal Palace

The Southampton win had given me some hope that we might be able to revitalise the league season, but this result cans it in more ways than one. Fought back from going a goal down early to level, then lost Livakovic to injury. Clementia gave them a goal with his first action in the game, and despite hitting post and bar we conceded a third late on.

It’s very unfortunate that we face United, Chelsea and City in our remaining three games with a cup final to follow, and I hope my team selections don’t impact the title race too much… I mean we’ve lost 6 in 7, so we’d probably lose them anyway! I just can’t risk losing Livakovic for the final.

Well played Livi, some kind of revenge for the FA Cup semi final. Go and get CL now!

Arsenal 2 - 1 Chelsea

A tough defeat when the stats had us with double the amount of shots. 12 of the 18 shots went to our best three shooters so we really should have done better here with our efforts on goal. A win as things turned out would have put us 5 points clear at the top. Can't deal in shuda's though, and we will dust ourselves off and go again midweek raring to go.

Liverpool 3 Crystal Palace 1

I’ve been doing some moaning of late with good performances not being reflected in our results. In this one however we got lucky as Palace surprised us tactically and as such probably deserved better.

Their cause wasn’t helped by their goalkeeper going off injured in the 1st half and that was probably the deciding factor.

Ironic that we didn’t hit the heights of recently but come away with the 3 points.
