    SHAKHTAR DONETSK 4-0 FC Porto

What should've been a close game to have a huge say on the top 3 turned out to be a whitewash really as we dominated the game and made pretty simple work of this one in the end. We changed our approach and it worked perfectly, we started quickly and didn't look back. The lads have played fantastically recently and today was another top performance.

We're almost there, 9 ahead of 3rd & 6 ahead of 2nd with only 9 remaining is dreamland for our little club and it might be one of the best achievements should we see this out and complete the job. It's been helpful ticking off minutes earlier in the season so we don't have to muck about at this key part of the season, it's probably benefited us more than we think.

Salzburg supporters were looking for relief from the terrible season with a home match at the bottom dweller PSV. The Red Bulls were once again guilty of horrible shot selection. Even RBS outshot PSV by 12 to 1, only 4 quality shots were produced and none of them found the net. The frustation of the Salzburg squad produced two yellow cards. An expected rally in the second half never materialized, and Sverko’s goal for PSV at the 10th minute was enough to win the match. Pavlovic and Wolf did some yoeman work at the back or the score would have been worse. This season can not end soon enough.

        EFL 2 Promotion Battle

The big winners of this weeks key match is Shakhtar with a dominant win over Porto, all but sealing promotion, and keeping them as clear title favourites.

Elsewherr, Wolfsburg fall out the playoffs with Atalanta replacing them.

Ajax seem too far adrift now, with a top 7 looking the most likely, with one team set to miss out.

Up next we have Wolfsburg vs Atalanta, if Atalanta win then it will look likely that Wolfsburg will miss out on the play offs. If Wolfsburg win then they leapfrog Atalanta and it’s all to play for.

Good luck all, in the remaining 3 games and a bit congratulations to Steve at the top
