Schalke 2-1 SHAKHTAR DONETSK

Well, that's a a turn up. We lead the tie and instantly gave away an equalizer. From then we couldn't get a second goal and despite our approach we slipped up and gave away a second to now make it just 1 point clear at the top. Being truthful as the season wrapped on, these two away games did have me very concerned but today we have little excuse as we had a full squad and just didn't do enough. We still have a chance to claim the title, a home game against Dortmund which will be tough, but with Porto now out the running for the top two, I can see them having one eye on the play offs.

Regardless, the mountain we climbed to get where we are and the effort we put in is still fantastic but we'll give it our all as we try to claim the title.

EFL2 Promotion Battle

In our game of the week, Wolfsburg beat Lazio 1-0 to secure a playoff position, and with Atalanta losing guarantee at least 5th place. Lazio and Atalanta now enter the final round in equal points, battling for the last playoff space.

Porto lost away to Union Berlin meaning two points seperate 3rd to 5th, all to play for in terms of prize money and placings in the playoffs.

Shakhtar have hit a poor run of form at the wrong time, with Benfica starting to win again, 1 point seperates the top two going into the last game

Benfica are facing Porto, whilst Shakhtar play Dortmund, all to play for.
