Another juggle of the resources for a tricky away game at Roma. 2 midfielders playing in defence, 3 attacking midfielders and 2 strikers starting was never going to be an easy task.
Atletico came back from 1-0 down to lead 1-2. A decision to try and hold bringing on a squaddie into DM did not have the desired affect and Roma instantly levelled.

Marsh commented "In the end its a decent point because it guarantees us 7th place. We now have the decision to make whether we go at Inter for 6th place or throw in the reserves with relegated Celtic next and nothing for the league to be concerned with. Its hard with 4 players one booking away from suspension and we have had pretty dreadful injuries this season with players leaving the pitch normally missing 3 games. We will have a think because we would love to get 6th and indeed finish as close to those above us as possible and try and recall the league season with a bit more fondness".
