    Arsenal 3 - 1 Crystal Palace

Always nice to play against the famous red and blue and this time we welcomed Rob to The Emirates who returned back to FFO, his unbeaten season with Bristol City still remembered by the FFO oldies which is one of the biggest achievements I've seen.

Our form of late has been nothing short of shocking and we literally go into each game with our fingers crossed but we picked up a very good win and saw a good performance for once aswell. The goals coming from Giminez, Hojilund and Hickey securing a massive three points in the game which us start with Camavinga in the side after his move from Juventus.

      Aston Villa 2-0 MANCHESTER UNITED

Just simply poor and bellow par from us and our old woes with counter attack football come back. We knew Villa would play A or P and so with what we had, set up accordingly. However, we didn't get enough into the game, and Villa a team in a good run of form continued their momentum and deserved the win.

Recently our form has been woeful but then again, the same kind of patches of bad runs hit us every season so it's not something new. But we have to try and salvage some pride, we now drop to 4th with 8 matches remaining and we need to improve with tough games ahead.

        Liverpool 5 West Ham 1

Finally our dominance in a game was properly rewarded with a changed approach to 5203N coming up trumps. Not a style that I would ever have thought of but noticed Johnboy having some success with it at Inter so thought we’d give it a whirl.

Certainly a much needed win but with those around us winning too it doesn’t really change much. 8 games to go and we have to try and find this kind of level more often if we want to have a chance of gate crashing the top 8.

Not going to be easy as we still have 3 of the title challengers to play. Shambolic season to be honest and we can’t have any complaints if we do eventually miss out.

          Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 1 Chelsea

Ahead of this fixture, I felt we had a slight edge over Spurs despite being away, though it was wafer-thin, so anything could happen. Missing two key players again including a big defende r for us in Kimpembe certainly didn’t help. Spurs had two players out as well, and with a few marked as doubtful, as I thought there was a chance they might rest some, especially with their Champions League semi-final coming up. Given their tendency and propensity to rotate in these situations — like they did in Round 5 of the CL group stage— it was a surprise to see them field a full-strength side. That decision came at a cost, as Kostić picked up a yellow card that rules him out of their semi-final.

As for the match itself, when Fati brought us level, a draw seemed like a fair result based on the even stats. So to concede a late winner was a cruel blow. Still, we knew this would be a tough game. With the season now heading into a short break, we're still top of the league and it's shaping up to be a thrilling run-in for all the teams in the title race.
