BHN Next Season

After todays palava, ive been asked to think again about only having BHN open twice a season

So here is what I will do

Close season - full bHN list as normal

Game 3-31 - weekly BHN list. Randomly selected from the pool of players with a varying price (within set parameters), with a varyingnumber

EG
Week 1 - 5 players listed, F_Elliott listed for say 10mil
Week 2 - 8 players listed
Week 3 - 2 players listed, F_Elliott listed for 11mil, I say listed for 11mil
Week 4 - 12 players listed
Week 5 - 7 players listed, F_Elliot listed for 9mil and SOLD

I'm with johnboy. I think it should be open, but varying the prices is just increasing the effort you need to put in for negligible effect

My two cents - I don't think it needs changing at all. Happy with it at the two points of the season.

I think it should be open throughout the season up until SHN deadline, all players who get sent to SHN should be put on the BHN list with mini forum auctions for players at and above a certain rating.

Maybe one kind of special offers/discount at mid-season (but not before mid season auction, and not enough of a discount for people to rinse the list and sell the following week for profit).

Not a fan.

My two cents.
- Either have it open all season or 1 pre season, one midseason. Similar to auctions.
- Players being bought off BHN should cost 20% more than a SHN price minimum
- To reduce the crap we've just had, any player being sold to the SHN should have their minutes made during the season. No minutes no fee, or maybe 50%minutes, 50% fee

All we've seen this season is SHN cashing in and it's too easy to do. Had players made minutes etc I don't think we'd have seen some of these instances.

i think you are missing my point. This would be coded. So when transfers are run, itll generate a report telling me who is under 23 players and then a list for BHN. So no extra work and a new pool of players each week.

The SHN issue, not sure its as bad next season with the lower prices

I missed whatever 'shenanigans' happened this week that we want to avoid.

My thoughts on the BHN is the same as last season, that I think it should include a supply of cheap/free low rated players with no minutes requirements and give managers more options for squad management.

Without these, managing minutes for a squad of 23 is painful and it becomes too challenging to manage a squad of more than that minimum 23.
That means nobody has players to sell and then you need the BHN permanently open because there is nowhere else for clubs who have ended up under the limit to get a player.

Would say the minutes is going to become increasingly harder as the game goes on as all the 0 value and usually 0 minute or minus minute players will disappear ASAP. A good point.

Keep BHN in sync the transfer window.
Quality of players should be squaddies or slightly better.
You could put SHN players into BHN, but the expensive OAP's would probably stay on the shelf.
